The Town of Oyen opened the Shirley McClellan Aquatic Centre to the public in 2005 after 2 years of fundraising and development. The facility includes a Junior Olympic size pool, a zero-depth entry pool, a water slide, a lazy river, a water umbrella, and a volcano seat. The building consists of an office, a first aid room, a meeting/training room, and a men, women, and family change room complete with washrooms and showers.
