Oyen Welcoming Communities Committee

The Welcoming Communities Committee was created in 2023 and is actively seeking volunteers to welcome and support newcomers as they settle into our community. This Committee aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging and facilitates the successful integration of newcomers.

The Welcoming Communities Ambassador is a volunteer position for six months and will provide social and integration support. These Volunteers will be matched with a newcomer based on interest, skills, experience and newcomers needs. For more information, call the town office (403)664-3511 or read the documents below.
